Page views to your own posts

Hello!
When I read my own posts, I don't like it when the page views counter increases. Wouldn't it be better to not increase the page views counter to your own posts when you are signed in (other peoples views still count)? What I mean: if you look at your own posts, don't increase the page views counter. How about that?

Is it a problem some how?

I don't like it to count my own views, because I want to know how much attention other people are giving it.

Just divide the number of views by 2 or 3

The fact that you view your own thread is inforrmative for the other users as they can see that someone else (possibly the OP) has viewed after them.

Okay. But that IS a problem for website views when I want the number of visitors (e.g. the sites in my signature)!

"I want to know how much attention other people are giving it."
I'd say the number of responses is more indicative.
Lots of topics start with some poor title that not at all descriptive of the problem, so they get read and then ignored.
