Linear Actauator PQ 12 P Analog Feedback Pin Problem

Hello everyone,
This is my first post on the Arduino forum
I am trying to control the Fergilli PQ12 P, using an Arduino Mega 2560, and an L298N H-bridge board.

The problem is that when that when the analog feedback pin of the motor is connected to the Arduino, the motor simply doesn't move. It doesn't open or close. When I disconnect it the motor open and closes.

The motor has the following specifications.
PQ12 P motor, is a linear actuator, that has five pins :
opens when a 12V is applied to the 3&2 pins, and closes when the voltage is reversed.
two voltage references must be applied to the 1&5 pins, any reference voltage will do.
a feedback analog voltage will be fed back through pin number 5.

Hi

Could you draw your how you've connected the actuator, L298 and Arduino together?
It would help quite much to solve this case.

Hi,
Welcome to the forum.

Please read the first post in any forum entitled how to use this forum.
http://forum.arduino.cc/index.php/topic,148850.0.html
then look down to item #7 about how to post your code.
It will be formatted in a scrolling window that makes it easier to read.

Can you please post a copy of your circuit, in CAD or a picture of a hand drawn circuit in jpg, png?

And a link to data spec on your actuator.

Thanks.. Tom...
