CONTROLLING ARDUINO PINS WITHOUT SHIELD.

sir/mam

I HAVE BUILT A HOME AUTOMATION PROJECT AND WORKS PERFECTLY. SO I WOULD LIKE TO GO FOR EXTENDED VERSION I.E, CONNECTING IT TO THE INTERNET WITHOUT ETHERNET SHIELD. I'M HAVING AN INTERNET CONNECTION TO MY SYSTEM AND WOULD LIKE TO READ THE SENSOR VALUES AND CONTROL THE PINS ANYWHERE, WHERE I HAVE INTERNET. AS I'M NEW TO SERIAL CONNECTIONS OVER INTERNET I WOULD LIKE TO HAVE STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTION.

THANKING YOU

REGARDS,
AKHIL

More details, please, code and a schematic, preferably.

Please don't shout.

You'll need either an ethernet shield... not nearly as scary as you probably think... or an "always on" PC which is connected to the internet, and then passes commands to, and gets answers back, from your Arduino, and then passes that to and from the internet.

I've done it both ways. Get a shield.

For the shield answer...

For the always-on PC....
