I'm trying to control two heater elements by using the arduino. This will be done by having an ac phase control and so I can trigger the elements at any instance. Can anyone please help me cause I don't know from where to start in doing this program. Your help would be really appreciated.

What sort of circuit do you have in mind for the power control part of your project?
For an electric heating element, you will likely not have to have fine-grained control at the AC phase level, but could simply use an SSR and control heater output on a 30 second or even longer schedule.
