Connect a USB hub?

Hello,

I was wondering if you could connect a USB hub to the Arduino Due in order to connect more than once device. Will that work? I guess it will not work since the Arduino would have to handle the hub drivers. On the other hand I guess it could work as a USB hub is a generic device.

Anyone tried? Any ideas?

Greetings.

I just tried this with the MouseController example. It did not work when the mouse was connected through a hub. It only worked when the mouse was connected directly. It also didn't work with a wireless mouse/keyboard dongle connected directly (which is internally configured as a hub).

The USB Host library technically does support hubs, but I'm not sure that the mouse/keyboard examples and libraries do.

Okay. Thanks guys for your answers. Now I know what to connect

i had no problem with the mouse example and a perixx wireless mouse. i was actually surprised that it worked. i guess this mouse is more generic than others. $12 from Amazon and a great mouse for the price http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0067A846Y/ref=oh_details_o01_s00_i00
