I don't like the new logo. Having it as an image when it blatantly doesn't need to be is a waste of my bandwidth and means my mobile device can't shrink it down to a device-favourable size.
If it is staying as an image, switch it to GIF please, it'll be half the size, or even smaller if you use css to keep space around it instead of having an image full of whitespace.
