What are transistors.

i dont understand about transitors, can someone tell about it. and sending me an image to explain it to me better

This is a good one as well:-

Why is a question about transistors a poll?

can you post a video link of it

A video link of what?

transistor

Why a video, they don't move:-

Try and google for transistor lab videos, there are lots but actually reading about them is so much better.

EBC reminds me EAT BIG COOKIE

ok,
so if im right, transistors are who get electric current from the E,
multiplis the energie from B,
and continue the circuit to C.

am i right?

Well if you think of current flowing from positive to negative then this is the wrong way round. However, if you think about the direction electrons flow this is right.

A transistor doesn't generate current but allows a small current flowing in the base to emitter, to control a much larger current flowing from collector to emitter.

I don't remember EVER seeing a legitimate "poll" on this website.

We did have one on removing karma, that was the only one I have seen that was a real poll.

ok, i connected the ground to the E,
then i connected a 5v to the B,
i continued the circuit of the grounds to C, hooking it up with an LED,
and finally connected the pin 13 to the other pin of the LED.

and its totally normal, nothing changed.
should it do somthing

No the cinfiguration will do nothing apart from blow up the transistor. What were you expecting it to do?

UNDERSTANDING WHAT CAN I DO WITH TRANSISTORS

Shhh!

Understanding what I can do with transistors

Hint: You're using several million right now.

Get a new transistor.

Emitter to ground.
Base to a 1K resistor.
Other end of the resistor to you arduino output pin.
Collector to the LED's current limiting resistor, say 220R
Othe end of this to the cathode of the LED.
Anode of the LED to the positive supply.

Now turning the arduino pin on and off will turn the LED on and off.
The small current flowing in the base that is limited by the resistor to less than 5mA will switch the large current of 20mA lighting up the LED.

nothing is working

Muneeb:
nothing is working

Then your doing it wrong. Post a drawing of what you are trying to wire up.
