I'd return it to be honest. That really shouldn't happen.
I bought one of the clones and hadn't used the native port at all then plugged a lead into it and about ten minutes later found the lead detached with the usb port still on it! looks like the usb port and pads was just ripped off the board because the solder tangs were bent over and had attached physically so the only thing holding the port on was the pads! Looks like the genuine one I bought is FAR better built that the alternative. I will email them and see if they swap it before I name and shame them though!
