Title: Hack Shutter-Glasses Help
Post by: muzik on Jun 13, 2013, 02:34 pm
Hi all,

i think for my project it would be perfect if i could hack some shutterglasses.

i found these references already:
http://hackaday.com/2012/11/14/turning-3d-shutter-glasses-into-automatic-sunglasses/ (http://hackaday.com/2012/11/14/turning-3d-shutter-glasses-into-automatic-sunglasses/)

My Questions are now:

- will the lcd be able to black out the sight completly or is it always a bit transparent? For my project i want to be able to make the wearer blind for a certain time
- can i buy just any shutter-glasses? or do i need to pay attantion on sth?

Thx alot!

No, shutter glasses are not prefect, there is always some light leakage.
