Okay, I'll try to be a bit more constructive, you've mentioned the Arduino Motor Shield in the title, I guess something like
I don't have that shield, nor any inclination to buy/experiment with one, however, provided that you (OP) is able to sort out all the electrical interface then I'd be happy to offer programming advice / templates. I'm not talking writing whole applications, but if you're stuck, need direction etc, then happy to exchange info via PM.
