If I pick ATMEGA2560 board in Tools->boards and I have for example Duemilanove attached, avrdude keeps cycling and never times out.
I understand ATMEGA2560 uses stk500v2 protocol and Duemilanove uses stk500v1, but is there a way to setup so avrdude quits looking for the board after so many tries, just like stk500v1 times out after 1 try?
