arduino_UNO vs OSX 10.4.. solved!!

hi all,
it could be that arduino UNO works just with new OSX, let's say 10.5 or later?
anybody are using a UNO board with an OSX older than 10.5, for
example, 10.4?

problem solved!

arduino UNO works also with osx 10.4.11.
for everybody uses this system i suggest:
1.change the baud rate at the right speed;
2.if having upload problems you can try this:
press upload
wait for sketch size the show
tap reset quickly
done upload!

after changing tons of configurations the only one it works
is the above mentioned. Thanks to Spycatcher2k (a member of
this forum who realised point n.2.

10.4.11 didn't work for me, but Works Now!!!! Woo hoo!!!

I upgraded my PowerBook G4 Ti from 256MB to 1GB RAM and OS X 10.4.11 to 10.5.6 and I just successfully loaded the "Blink" program... hope this solution works for others as well!

I have hesitated in the past to upgrade my 550MHz G4 Ti Powerbook to OS X 10.5.xx, but if it worked for you, I might have to take the plunge, if I can find an install disk for 10.5.xx. I already have the 1GB of RAM though!

Can you tell me what baud rate you used. Is this the baud rate that you see in the serial monitor window?
