Serial port monitor freeware

I'm looking for a serial port spy software that logs serial port traffic between some software and the COM port.

I have downloaded the following programs, and they all require payment to log files or can't spy on an open port.

RS232 Logger
SerialMon
Free Serial port monitor

Can anyone recommend some freeware serial port spy logging software please?

Thanks, turns out SerialMon is making logs, my mistake.

And braysTerminal and HyperTerminal and Minicom, all freeware....
