Hi, I wasn't sure where to post this so I decided to post it here, since its for an art project, If i should move it somewhere else please let me know.
I'm trying to use a single motor to control about 8 strings. I need to tie the strings so that as the motor unwinds each string gives slack at separate times. But It also needs to be able to be wound up again.
Thanks Ahead of time!!!

Will you have 1 motor with different 'cam's for each string? Think like 8 egg-shaped wheels, with the elongated portions not aligned together and the strings going over them.
