best way to send data wirelessly from a piezo to a computer

Hi All,
I have a project where a piezo is installed on a percussive object, this object can move, so I wondering how is the best way to send the information from the piezo to a receiver on a computer.
I guess the piezo will need an arduino mini to process the signal and send it though something like xbee to the receiver in the computer + a small battery. My problem first is understand what is the best technical solution in terms of electronics, but also how to send at least 5 different sources to una receiver that is the computer.

Thanks for the advices
David

Xbee is one way to send the signal.
I like using JeeNodes.
Kind of like an Arduino with a built in radio.

JeeLabs also make this module which is on a USB stick. I would try the USB stick paired with a regular JeeNode.

Good luck.
