Newbie here.
I was recently trying out some of the GSM/SMS examples and was surprized to see how many warning messages (15-20) were generated by the compiler about the included .cpp and .h files.
Most of these messages are of the:
deprecated conversion from string constant to 'char*'
typedef ignored
passing NULL to non-pointer argument
types.
I'm using the 1.6.13 IDE and an Arduino GSM Shield 2 and have had the examples working on the UNO even with the warnings.
I'm curious if there is something wrong about my setup or are these warnings normal because of the age of the libraries relative to changes made to the compiler since they were written.
