Right now I have a arduino uno, motor controler and a fully built truck.
I would like to control the truck through a ps3 or Xbox like controller. I've also read that the xbee shield would be best for this.
For this project I need the UNO to be on board with the truck.
I would like to know for sure before buying the parts.
So how and what parts would I need to connect them?

What truck? What motor controller? Are we talking a true hobby RC vehicle, or a toy?

A don't know about PS3, but Lynxmotion has PS2 wireless controllers for operating robots.
