arduino IDE w/ pocket avr programer

I'm hoping someone here has been down this road and will be willing to pass along a few tips.

I would like to use the arduino IDE and the SparkFun Pocket AVR programmer to load programs onto atmega328p chips via ISP. I do not need to burn a bootloader.

My understanding is that the programmers.txt and boards.txt files will need to be updated. I do not know any of the specifics of the necessary updates.

Please share any tips you may have if you have successfully used the arduino IDE with the SparkFun Pocket AVR programmer.

Thanks!

There's some documentation here: Google Code Archive - Long-term storage for Google Code Project Hosting.

you should be able to just make a change to boards.txt
