Are all the uploading, sync, can't set COM state, board not responding etc. etc. etc. problems everyone is getting a Windows 8 issue, the IDE itself or what? Are all the other IDE's out there having the same issues communicating with the boards? My standard Arduino 1.6.1 IDE will work fine for hours then quit. Go away frustrated, come back the next day and it's fine
Can some of the experts here could point us to a better IDE because I for one am at a loss on how to fix this. .
