DC motor with built in encoder

I am looking for some small DC motors which have built in encoders but can't seem to find any online. preferably cheap.

either that or I need to add a few encoders to my current setup.

Any one have suggestions?

I have never come across such a thing.
The closest I have seen is the Lego mind storm motors (then new ones). The words cheap and encoder do not sit together well.
