KoRe, SynerBots and Chess Robots

Dear All,

We have been underground after creating quite some enthusiasm of our Integrated ATmega XBee ver.2 KoRe.

We have not one - but 3 great newses this time.

  1. We have successfully found a great manufacturing partner and have obtained 2 test KoRe boards. See attached image.

Features:

  1. ATmega328 with your choice of XBee

  2. XBee Sleep / AWK switch to shut down FTDI and LEDs for low power state

  3. Nice USB/XBee switches for Xbee-Computer and XBee-ATmega connection modes

  4. Wireless code uploading

  5. Power with DC adapter or USB

  6. Price just $49.99 with your choice of XBee

  7. We have also partnered with our neighborhood robotics company Budget Robotics (http://www.budgetrobotics.com) to bring you the first swarm robotics platform for hobbyists called SynerBots that features an API for communicating robots based on the KoRe boards

  8. Based on the SynerBots platform is our release of Chess Robots that autonomously play a game of chess. These robots communicate and arbitrate amongst themselves with a language that we developed called as "SynLang" to decide the best possible moves with a layered social communication architecture at the KoRe. We invite all of you to the Discovery Science Center, Santa Ana, CA on the 15th and 16th of August when a team of 16 robots will take on a team of 16 humans for the first time in a game of chess. See invitation below.

  1. Also we invite you to fill in our buyer interest registration form at our new site: http://www.myrarobotics.com so that we know how many KoRe boards we need to order along with the type of Xbees

  2. We have been extremely busy working on a lot of things. Getting a manufacturer that would do our boards cost-effectively was very tough. Plus the rounds of testing back and forth consume time. Also the whole Synerbots and Chess Robots projects have been going on parallely with KoRe boards. So with respect to KoRe we have got everything working and now our into production mode. We would like to know the quantity of KoRes and types of Xbees - Series 1 or 2 that you require. So please do visit our website http://www.myrarobotics.com to fill in the buyer interest registration form. Also if possible, please come to see our technology in action at the Discovery Science Center

Also the KoRe will come with nice long female headers and long ICSP that allows shield stacking on top of XBee

Also the production version will come with battery jack so you have essentially three ways of powering the KoRe - USB, DC and battery supply

Features:

  1. ATmega328 with your choice of XBee
  2. XBee Sleep / AWK switch to shut down FTDI and LEDs for low power state
  3. Nice USB/XBee switches for Xbee-Computer and XBee-ATmega connection modes
  4. Wireless code uploading
  5. I2C pins
  6. Power with DC adapter or USB or [Battery supply - Production version]
  7. Price just $49.99 with your choice of XBee
  8. Non-Xbee interfering Shield Support with Long Female Headers and ICSP
  9. We are into production mode now after a lot of back and forth prototype testing
  10. Click here to register your buyer interest specially the type of Xbee Series 1 or 2 that you require
