My HTC Evo is dead. Can I pull out the camera and other sensors that are in it and use them?
Do is need any software or hardware to pull these items an use them? I would assume that the photos sensors and such would be just standard, but what about he camera.
Modern phones are extremely complex, the PCBs and connectors are extremely fine pitch, I doubt anything can be done without a lot of expertise with the camera. Microphone and speaker, vibro motor, those are most likely to be usable.
However having said that its always worth checking the internet to see if anyone's managed to hack that phone. The screen might be doable for instance (although the connector issue will apply here).
