Nice place to make bulk orders of leds

Good night to everyone, can someone suggest some e-store to make some bulk orders, packages of about 100 leds each would be great, and having the basic colors and rgb's in non smd format, as almost all leds sellers in ebay only ship to usa or have high prices, at least thats what I have found.

I was happy with the price and quality of this sellers 3mm diffused blue leds I bought for a led cube project. Not sure if they have any country shipping restrictions, but you can ask them via a question link.

I have found this guy good for LEDs - he also has other electronic products:

He does have some shipping restrictions, but nothing about Europe/Britain...

I have always used ebay for LEDs in packs of 100 or so.

I have never had an issue with shipping limitations. RGB LEDs are expensive though. You can buy about 200 5mm LEDs of a single colour for about 15 5mm RGB LEDs

I usually order my LEDs from eBay. But some sellers I used in the past don't sell LEDs anymore :(.

This one seems to have very reasonable prices:

I always do a search on "100 LED Resistor" on eBay. That usually brings up some very nice priced LEDs wiith free resistors (ask for 5V resistor otherwise you might get 12V).

RGB LEDs are expensive though. You can buy about 200 5mm LEDs of a single colour for about 15 5mm RGB LEDs

Cheap RGB LEDs are harder to find, but this seems to be a good deal:

| eBay...

His prices looked OK until I saw the shipping estimate. Good sweet LORD! $5 for 1000 LEDs is really great but $20 shipping?

1000 LEDs for $24.99 is still a great deal right?

Exactly, don't pay attention to the product/shipping ratio pricing, that's more about what the seller has to pay e-bay in commission. For the buyer it's the total price that counts, in this case 2.5 cents each!

I see and appreciate the point you guys are making, but it still doesn't lessen the emotional impact of thinking it was a super great deal and then finding out it is only a "good" deal.

Aww, poor ill_switch. Maybe you can sue for emotional damages. Only if you are from the USA of course ;).
