How Disable arduino auto-reset on serial connection (windows)

Use Putty for serial connection

in Connection/serial chose DSR/DTR

There is "RESET EN" marked pads on the board. Cutting off the path between those pads the autoreset will be disabled permanently. You can solder the wire there to restore this functionality back.
Another "noninvasive" ways are to use small <1kohm resistor between RESET and 5V pins or big cca 10uF capacitor between RESET and GND.

The 10uF cap between reset and ground is the usual way to disable autoreset. Exact value isn't critical.

To disable the auto reset when connect  Use putty and enable the DSR/DTR tab

no need to do hardware mods
