4 x 4 x 4 LED Cube with Shift Registers

Using Arduino LEDs and Multiplexing

I have been having a goggle, and I found this 4 x 4 x 4 LED cube using a picaxe microcontroller. I'm not sure if this could be adopted to Arduino but it looks interesting. Anybody up for a conversion 8)
