Austin Robotic Network Demo Day/Line Following Event

Austin Robotic Network is a group dedicated to creating free & low-cost robotic opportunities in the Austin area.

We will be hosting a free event:

ARN Demo Day/Line Following Event

At the Ruiz Library
1600 Grove Blvd., Austin

Set-up Demonstrations 12:30-1:00
Public Viewing 1:00-4:00
Line Following 3:00-4:00

Demonstrations can be any LEGO construction, any robotic project, or any technology-related project. All ages & skill levels are invited to participate, teams or individuals. Demonstrations will be given table space or floor space (as requested). One demonstration will feature the basics of the Arduino microcontroller hardware and programming environment, presented by a member of the ARN team. We expect the Austin Robot Group to bring robots and demonstrate CREATE. We will also give out information about our Summer Sumobot competition & summer workshops learn to build them. This is a community event to help those interested get involved in robotics.

The Line Following is divided into two events: LEGO only – Two categories: 12 & under, and 13 & over
Open Source – all ages, any platform

To register for Demonstration space or to enter the Line Following Competition send an email to moonlit-hunt at earthlink.net with registration in the subject line by Feb. 10, 2013. Please provide a simple description of your demonstration and what kind of space you need, or which category for the Line Following Competition you will compete in.
