Hey I am looking for a cheap linear actuator and controller board, power door lock actuators for vehicles like this http://www.amazon.com/High-Power-Door-Lock-Actuator/dp/B0002KR9PW/ref=pd_sbs_auto_2 are cheap and would probably work for me. Ideally I'd prefer one smaller, with less travel (1cm is fine) but more force. The door actuator is supposed to provide 10lbs, slightly more would be better. Cost is also a factor.
I've also looked at lots of motor controller boards but am still which exactly would run an actuator like that...
