Battery plug type

Hi,

I'm searching for information that tells me the battery plug type of th MKR1000 and I simply cannot find it looking through the specs and schematics - mainly due to incompetence.

Is there anybody who could point me into the right direction?

I have two types of LiPos lying around here, but they do not fit.

TIA

Andre

Hi.

The schematic (in PDF) (click tells about the connector being a S2B-PH-SM4-T.
Google will help you find out that that is a connector made by JST (such a surprise).
Of course Google served me some commercial links first, and that lead me to the Dutch version of an international supplier.
They have a datasheet (in English) for download, so you can learn a bit more about them.

Go to your favourite supplier, and do a search for phr-2 (choose JST if you need to be more specific).
That will end up in the plastic counter part for that connector.
Then you will still need the metal part that goes in the plastic part, that seems to be called "BPH-002T-P0.5S".
It is supposed to be crimped with a ridiculously expensive crimping tool, but you might get away with bending it with a set of long nose pliers and perhaps soldering it afterwards.
If you need to actually produce thousands of those cables you might consider buying that tool.

That's about all i can tell about it.
Hope you are helped with it.
