Wow, i'm surprised no one has asked this before, but how do i rename my arduino serial port on mac? (ie. change from the auto-generated "usbmodem422" to "arduinoPort".
I have the port name in some code that is sending firmata data to the arduino and i need it to be compatible on other computers and/or if the port name changes.
I'm finalizing an install so a quick response would be much appreciated!!

I'm not understanding how the port naming works, I had to hard-restart my computer and the port name changed for my arduino. I need the name to stay consistent once its set. How do i do this?
