nano 3.0 w/Atmega328 support

Hi Arduino folks,

I just got my Nano 3.0 w/ATmega328 and I am able to compile and load w/version 0016 using:

Tools->Board->Arduino Duemilanove w/ATmega328

but I have to unplug the board (hard reset) in order to load a second time.

I get the following error:

Binary sketch size: 1130 bytes (of a 30720 byte maximum)

avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x51

Thanks,

What operating system are you using?

Windows XP

I have a Arduino Diecimila that works fine.

John,

Sound like you have a bad unit. Please send the unit back for the replacement. Contact sales@gravitech.us for the RMA#.

Thanks Gravitech,

Which hardware template should I use in Arduino 0016 with the Nano 3.0?

Would "Tools->Board->Arduino Nano" work with the 3.0?

Zorlon: "Tools->Board->Arduino Duemilanove w/ ATmega 328" seems to be the only selection that works with the Nano v3.0

Thanks,

I think it's a hardware issue with the soft reset. I'll RMA the unit and let you know how it works.

Zorlon: The new release Arduino 0017 (out now) includes a proper "Arduino Nano w/ ATmega328" entry in the "Tools > Board" menu.
