Z80 simulation

Hey people,

I can buy a used arduino r3 from a friend of mine for dirt-cheap.
Since i've allways liked programming (started in basic, ended in C and assembly for several platforms) and like playing around with electronics I thought.......why not combine these two things?

I'm a huge retro computer fan and I was wondering if someone has succeeded in getting the arduino to act as a Z80 computer (combined with a gameduino maybe) and let it act as a Sinclair ZX81 or ZX80.

If so, does anyone have the code and scematics to do so?

You have, of course, searched this forum and used Google in an attempt to find out ?
