Is anyone else currently looking at the ADK ?
This looks to me to be opening up a whole new world of potential with Google/Android behind it.
It's definitely exciting, I just started playing with mine. But if you really think about there's much that couldn't be done already using other methods of communication like bluetooth and internet, it can even done with the old Arduino Duemilanove:
