Does anyone have any advice on which kind of water pumps suit well with Arduino? I have a Arduino connected to a relay and from there to some kind of water pump. Some require transformers for example, which one is the best?
Generally, one chooses the relay to suit the load, not the other way around. Pick a pump, and then get a relay that can control it.
How much water do you need to pump at what pressure??
Pick a pump and find it's electrical characteristics...

All type of water pumps that are driven electrically suit Arduino.. You need relay or MOSFETs to drive depends upon the load requirement by the pump..Do you know Arduino has also a pump in its core? guess what?
