Flexible light sensor

Hi Gang
Hi People of The Arduino Forum

For a project I am working on I need a sensor which can detect IR light. However this sensor needs to be flexible and small. Ideally I would like to mount an entire array of these sensors on something as flexible as a sheet of paper.

All I came up with is using surface mount components, which should work as they are tiny. However, a truly flexible solution would be cool.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks

Can we have gang signs too?

I can't think of anything to suit what you're looking for. What's the application?

Depending on what the application, the size of the sensor array and the needed flexibility is, a possible solution could be to use fibre optics on the flexible input side and have them transfer the light to a static sensor.

But to give you any truly viable input we would need to know a little more on what it is you intend to do...
