I don't know if this issue it was already reported but arduino.cc has some problems with email parsing in case when it contains a plus sign. So for example if you register with your gmail alias like name+arduino@gmail.com then in some parts of the system the plus sign is replaced with a whitespace. As a result you will not be able to receive email notifications about subscribed threads.
