I am new to Arduino. Just bought Arduino uno & ethernet shield and want to do a voltage logger to monitor and troubleshoot voltage drops ocurring in my instruments.
A. For Dc voltages above 5 Vdc I know I need to make a voltage divider but for 24 Vac I am not sure how to input it into arduino. Maybe using an optocoupler?
B. I want to log it into the SD coming with ethernet shield and then be able to see this data in excel or the web. How could I achieve this?

you could do AC -> DC and then use a voltage divider..
