High amp PNP transistor

I am looking for a PNP transistor that can supply 7A at 12V. Could someone recommend something, as I am having a hard time finding anything.

Thanks,

Perfect, thanks.

I was having trouble finding search terms.

I'd really recommend you reconsider using a P-channel MOSFET instead. A PNP transistor, even if it saturates at 0.7V Vce, will dissipate 4.9W at 7A. You're going to need a big heatsink or forced air cooling.

A P-channel MOSFET will easily handle 7A, not drop 12V down to 11.3V, and generally be a happier solution.
