Hi! I'm art student and need to create work that uses tilt sensor to activate soundfile on pure data. I am more familiar with pure data than arduino, but when it comes to connecting the two of them I'm clueless! Any help would be much appreciated! Thanks!
Post a link with some information on what pure data is. Use the chain links icon on the toolbar to make the URL clickable. Some of us aren't familiar with what pure data is but may still be able to provide some advice.

Tilt sensors are pretty simple to use. They are simply switches that trigger when the sensor tilts. It sounds like you already know how to make the pure sound code to work. Are you just trying to trigger the sound?
