Can i use the 13 digital pins (not the digital number 13) from programming in arduino uno with xbee shield on it?

Which shield? Which pins does it use? Typically, XBee shields use pins 0 and 1 to communicate with the Arduino. Some allow you to select other pins (typically 2 and 3).

Okay, so if i got pins 0 and 1 to communicate with arduino. The rest of the pins can be programmed in some other stuffs? Because i'm planning to program a somewhat like buttons to the remaining digital pins.
