Hello,

Does anyone know how to adjust the contrast of the 16x2 LCD JLX1602G with arduino?
And why is the resistor on pin 10 (XRESET) ?

Thanks in advance,

Gunther

Your question about the contrast was not answered the last time you asked it, perhaps because there is a line of code that appears to do just that.

The 10K resistor on your cartoon picture appears to be a 'pull-up' resistor which is common on active low reset lines.

Thanks for answering.

I thought my reply did'nt work so I made one.

When I change the Contrast in the Code it don't work.
I don't have to put a adjustuble resistor to the LCD for adjusting the contrast.

Kind Regards,
Gunther
