Capacitive Sensor - help!

Hi everybody!

I am trying to test the capacitive sensor with the library Capsense :Arduino Playground - HomePage (with arduino leonardo, a copper foil and a resistor of 10Mohm), but it only reacts when is touched. It does not show any values while the finger is near the copper foil .
I tried with version 04 and 05 , but not success..... What am i doing wrong?

Unrealistic expectations is my guess. Why do you assume that waving you finger near the foil will trigger the sensor? As far as I know, it can only be used to determine WHERE it is touched.
