If anyone can help I would be most in your debt... I assembled the kit with no problem and quickly hooked it up to my computer via MIDI and was able to use the preloaded sketch with Garageband. I then hooked it up to a thrift store rockband drum kit with great success. I then wanted to change the parameters in the sketch with a FTDI cable but am having trouble getting the sketches to upload. This is a broad problem I know. Windows downloaded the driver for the FTDI cable but I am missing something and spikenzielabs doesn't really address the settings for uploading the sketch. Thanks!
