Title: Webcam used for pics?
Post by: encryptor on Dec 07, 2012, 11:41 pm
I have a Logitech RightLight (tm) Technology Right Sound (tm) Technology usb webcam.  M/N : V-UBK45 Rating 5V 100mA.  It was compatible on Windows XP, but not Windows 7.  go figure...  So now I either want to get it working on Win 7 or dismantle it and somehow use the camera for pics taking with arduino.

We get at least one of these questions per day.

An arduino has not got enough memory or speed to attach a camera.

Yes but there is a problem with the USB port so you might not get anything much in the way of frame rate.
