(Video) Serial output on an oscilloscope

I put together a short clip of the shiftout example being displayed on an oscilloscope.

Sorry about the audio, video cameras are better for this stuff..

It's pretty good for seeing how latching, clocks and serial data all work. if anybody has some code they think would be interesting on a scope, PM me and I'll see what I can do :wink:

Yeah that's a lab at Purdue (boilerup!)

It will be quite some time before I have the need or budget for a setup that nice...

Stick a bypass cap or three in your protoboard, and see if they get better! (if not, what else can you do to improve the what the signal looks like. Other than using a cheaper scope...)

Lol, first you get compliments about the lab and then someone tells you to use cheaper scope to get a nicer signal... ;D
