i'm writing an assignment on robotics for my university, and I have section in the assignment on makers / DIY culture.
my feeling for this forum - and indeed my impression after attending the arduino workshop at ars electronica '06 - is that the users of arduino, and makers in general, represent a very diverse group of actors. this is my attempt to be a bit scientific about it. please spend a few moments on filling out the poll, it would help my assignment a lot.
a technical note: it is only possible to submit 8 categories for polls in this forum, so the categories have to be quite open and generalistic. you can select multiple answers if needed. or select option 8 and leave a comment stating your profession if you feel like it.
