Cubase MIDI Out

Hello,

My ideal goal is to have my Arduino show up as a MIDI out device in Cubase so that MIDI can flow out USB to the Arduino and I use it to trigger my 8ch light show.

I've seen quite a bit of info on making synths, edrum controllers, etc but I'm really clueless as to get the Arduino to show up as a device in Cubase. Any idea of what that would take?
