AVR ISP

Hi, Guys,

I was just searching the net for an Atmel AVR ISP MK2, when I came across something that might work. I'm new to all of this Arduino stuff, having just gotten my Mega2560 board a couple of days ago, but when I saw this I figured that I would bring it to your attention. I really know nothing about all this stuff, but I saw something cheaper so I figured I'd share it. It is on the www.sunrom.com website, model 1276. I don't know if this would work for some of you guys or not. It's only about $23. Lew

$23 is "really expensive" for an avrisp clone from an untrusted vendor. eBay is full of them for less than $10.

In the other thread I gave you a link to an Atmel AVRISP. All you had to do is click it.

http://www.digikey.com/product-search/en?x=0&y=0&lang=en&site=us&KeyWords=avrispmkii <--- just click that.

$37.50 USD. If you buy some other unknown home-made thing off the web in order to save $8, don't cry when I say "told ya so".

Buy the Atmel programmer.

Mouser: $36.60

Was $33 when I got mine a couple of years ago.

Wonder how much shipping from India is?
