Hi,
My son is a hip hop popper. We want to set him up with sensors on his hands, feet, head, etc. so that motion triggers sounds. You can see him in action here.
I'm new to arduino but there are some close examples out there to what we want but none right on target.
It seems as though our purchase list would look something like the MIDI driving air drums project:
Arduino Uno
ADXL335 accelerometers x4 (hands, chest, head -what is our limit?)
Pressure sensors on the feet? Accelerometers on the feet? Not sure what to do here
USB connections (connectors/females)
Does anybody have experience with something similar to what we want to accomplish? Any alternative suggestions for how to approach the problem?
