Just bought a Rigol DS1054Z scope to replace my ancient Philips PM3217.

Things have moved on a bit. Lovely gadget.

I've used hi-end LeCroys, Teks, HPs etc at work, but they were well outside my pocket. This is amazing for the price.

ps Chris - re old-style photograghy.  I've had a Rolleiflex 3.5F with a Zeiss 'planar'  lens for years, and still don't reckon anything digital can beat it for image quality.
Hey Allan, Too cool - I had a Rolleiflex with a 3.5/75 Zeiss Jena Tessar. I think it's my favorite lens of all time. As for the camera on my car seat- it does a good job with interiors:

new home or office? looks like it could stand a little more furniture, and maybe some Sheetrock. ;)

I like the floor reflection effect. concrete must have been very nicely polished.

Hi,
I bought a couple of these
PAM8403 to play with.

Just using a 5V supply and some bypassing should be better than good old LM358.

Tom.. :)

But can it get a high-zoom image of a distant bird or airplane within 20 seconds?

...R
Yes:

The bird is in the right position for less than a second.

The floor is wet cause it rained, and the roof has many holes.

Nouveau Houston style? They might switch to power-backed-up bunkers on pedestals. I know I would!

Okay but the quoted item descriptions I gave should work, might find a lower price.

The IRLZ44N's

The Switching PS

The made in China PS arrived and it is very nice. Got a snap-down cover over the screw terminals. OEM type part.

First thing I did was get a power receptacle out of a boneyard PSU to save cutting a cord. Now it takes PC D cords.

Next thing was to find out that my cheap color led strip that needed extra amps isn't RGB leds but red led - green led - blue led in 16.67mm spacing. NOT what I wanted at all. So now I'm looking at audio filters to make a 3-way crossover to drive the colored leds according to sound, perhaps passed output to hex buffer to get binary output to the driver FETs and get a cheap lightshow fit for a Christmas tree. :) There's 5m of this that I no longer care to hack into strips.

I do have WS2812 5050 RGB strips OTW.

have you thought of a software program that will sync the lights to the music? I came across Vixen a while back, and i still intend to eventually make it work for me. i think i even have a spaghetti code project that uses a TLC5940. i don't remember if the code is mine, or downloaded, it has been a while.

I don't need software or a controller for this.
I won't try to make an AVR follow music either, an ARM maybe but not an AVR.

I made the lame fake-rgb strip shine all the leds just to test the PSU at 3A and made each color blink at different rates just to see how much less lame they might get. For sure, Christmas tree worthy or something like that, decorate a 4-H fair cheese booth.

Hi,
Arrived yesterday;

Cappuccino last night.

Long Black for breakfast and toast this morning.

Yes yes yes

Tom.... :)
Not as perfect as our mobile barista (Bean Me Up)  that calls into our factory court each morning, but so much more convenient and Cappuccino as well.

Looks like a good location for Fast and Furious 101 or what ever number they are up to.
I've never seen a movie like it where you see them change down a gear nearly every other second, yet never see them change up!!!!!!!
When will F&F go Hybrid or ALL Tesla?
