How to measure the power consumption of sensor ?

I wonder to know that how to measure the power consumption of sensor like DHT11 or MQ-2.

Their datasheets will tell you:
If you dont believe the datasheets, you can measure the current (and voltage) to the sensor.
multiply the two reading

Is that possible to detect and measure the power consumption of sensors and than transmit the data to
the arduino.

Sorry for asking so many questions.

But I really want to know the knowledge about the arduino and sensor.
